Guam recorded 153,836 residents in 2020. Hagåtña is the capital; Dededo, Yigo, Tamuning, Mangilao and Barrigada are the largest municipalities. Nineteen villages or municipalities cover the island.
Guam’s territorial flower is the brilliantly coloured bougainvillea, locally called puti tai nobiu. It flourishes along fences, in parks, around homes and beside the streets of Tumon, giving everyday places splashes of pink, red, orange and white. The island’s floral identity is even more varied at village level, with different districts associated with gardenia, plumeria, hibiscus, tuberose, poinsettia and other blooms. A Guam-inspired bouquet can draw on that cheerful village-to-village palette with cultivated tropical flowers.
Delivery runs Monday to Saturday, normally between 10:00 and 21:00. Same-day flower delivery is not currently offered in Guam, so choose an available future date and allow extra notice for controlled-access destinations.
